One of our superstar care workers, Debbie Watson, appeared on the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC 2 this morning. Debbie appeared on a panel of 4 including Dr Hamed Khan (GP), Abbie Cooper (Nurse) and Nizam Mamode (Transplant Surgeon) discussing whether the Health & Social care industry are overworked.When asked why she became a care worker, Debbie commented:
I do it because I enjoy it and when I go home after I finish my shift, I feel good that I’ve been able to help people to live in their own homes, in their own environment, in their own comforts and have everything around them that’s familiar for them.”
