Bluebird Care are supporting The Big Bag Challenge 2015 to help Age UK reach 100,000 bags of donations this October.

Bluebird Care are supporting The Big Bag Challenge 2015 to help Age UK reach 100,000 bags of donations this October.

From the 5th of October 2015, volunteers in Age UK shops will be on hand to receive bags of donations, with the aim of reaching 100,000 bags. Age UK are appealing to people to help them reach their target by having a clear out and donating unwanted items to your local Age UK shop.

All funds raised will allow Age UK to continue it’s vital work of supporting those who are facing later life alone, enabling them to provide companionship, support and advice, as well as their free national advice line (open 365 days a year) and to continue with their vital campaigning work.

Taking part in The Big Bag Challenge couldn’t be easier! All types of quality goods are accepted, including shoes, clothing, books, accessories and homewares, every bag donated will help raise much-needed funds for older people. To help just bring your unwanted items along to your local Age UK shop.
