With spectacular weather the Bluebird Care franchise network descended upon Brighton to celebrate the 11th annual conference awards.
With spectacular weather the Bluebird Care franchise network descended upon Brighton to celebrate the 11th annual conference awards. Throughout the first weekend of October The Grand Hotel on Brighton’s famous seafront played hosts to over 200 franchise owners and guests.
As tradition would demand, the annual golf competition saw the enthused club-swinging crowd soak the best of the weather at the nearby golf course. Congratulations to all of the golf awards winners and to everyone who took part in what by all accounts was a fantastic afternoon of sport and comradery.
This year’s conference theme was ‘Accelerating Growth – Let’s Drive your Team’. The theme addressed two vital business principals – business growth and people management. Our first guest speaker was the enigmatic Chris Merrington, who somehow managed to shoehorn a chicken, some sticks and chocolate into an interactive, though-provoking presentation on the importance of valuing the people in your organisation.
Our second guest speaker, Richard Noble, wowed us all with a breath-taking and often humorous presentation about the amazing ‘Bloodhound’ project and their aim to set a new Land Speed Record of 1000mph, and bring the record home to Britain. Richard’s presentation left the audience inspired and in awe. We wish Richard and the team all the best with the remainder of the project.
The Bluebird Care franchise owner awards and gala dinner was held on the Saturday night with over 200 people celebrating the exemplary efforts of our franchise owners, with our Chief Operating Officer presenting the awards. The weekend was a great success, we would like to thank everyone who attended, and all who were involved in the organising of the event. Also a special thank you to our exhibitors and The Grand Hotel Brighton for hosting the conference.
