The Alzheimer's Show

The Alzheimer’s Show, in association with Alzheimer’s Society, is the UK’s only conference and exhibition for those affected by dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Show is an extremely important event. It is the UK’s only conference and exhibition for those affected by dementia. Such is the impact of dementia on our society, the newly elected Prime Minister David Cameron expects that the numbers of people with dementia to double in the next 30 years (www.gov.uk, 2015). The Alzheimer’s Society predicts that this year there will be 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. This number will rise to over 1 million by 2025 and 2 million by 2051 (www.alzheimers.org.uk, 2015). Clearly, the impact of this disease has and will have a significant impact on hundreds of thousands of people, and not just those living with dementia but also family and friends who are and will be in future caring for their loved ones.

At Bluebird Care we aim to help people living with dementia maintain their quality of life while remaining in their own homes. We also provide guidance about dementia to help people better understand the disease, and information about how we can help create specialised dementia care plans for our customers living with dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Show is the perfect place to help anyone living with dementia to obtain information, free support, advice, and clarity which can help tackle the significant change that dementia can bring to people’s lives. For more information please visit the Alzheimer's Show website.
