With over 14 years of experience in delivering care at home, we're pleased to be able to offer our care and support to the Ayrshire Community.
Here is how our care journey started...
In 2008, we were looking for home care for Jane's grandmother and feeling deeply disappointed at the quality of care and information available. We decided as a couple that it was time to make a change. We started researching and found Bluebird Care and that's where our story began.
We officially opened for business on the 8th of the 8th in 2008 in Edinburgh and after a few short but successful years, we were allowed to expand into Glasgow South.
Now here we are in 2021, being able to support the community in Ayrshire. We offer a range of services including, Domiciliary Care, Live-in Care, 24-hour Care, people living with dementia, Physical Disabilities Care, Learning Disabilities Care, End of Life Care, Stroke Care, and Reenablement Care.
But it isn't just about what we can do within Bluebird Care, we're committed to helping the community on a larger scale and that's why Jane is a member of the Edinburgh Care Forum and is also Scottish Care's Branch Chair for Lothian Care at Home Providers.
We have a local Registered Care Manager Annemarie Frew, who is very experienced and very well-known within the care at-home sector and she is very keen to discuss how she and we can help.
Once you get to know us, you'll soon realise we're huge dog people. We believe that dogs really can make everything better and that's why we've partnered with the Give a Dog a Bone charity based in the heart of Ayrshire. This charity helps to pair dogs with those above 60. It certainly pulls on our heartstrings as it means our elderly community can find companionship in a furry friend without the financial strain.
We look forward to getting to know the Ayrshire community so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
