We're opening a new Care Hub in Kingsclere in 2018. Exciting times ahead...
Bluebird Care in Hook is now five and a half years’ old and has grown massively since we opened in 2012, allowing us to help more and more people to stay at home by providing the very best quality home and live in care services across Basingstoke & Deane and Hart. Every one of you is part of this success and we are blessed to have a team of fantastic, caring individuals who want the very best for our customers which in turn has meant that the demand for our services keeps on increasing.
As a result of this success and to better support our customers and our care team, we are delighted to be able to announce we will be opening a new Care Hub in Kingsclere in the new year. The Bluebird Care Hub will give local residents access to information on local organisations in the care sector as well as giving advice and training on home and live in care. It will also give us space to provide a carers’ lounge so we have an area for you to use before and after meetings or just to come in and relax if you’re passing. Our Care Hub will be based on the ground floor at 17 Plantagenet House in Kingsclere Park and will be a shared resource between our Newbury and Hook businesses.
Upstairs, 17 Plantagenet House will also provide space for Lynn and her office team although we will be retaining our offices in Acorn House in Hook in the short term. Sadly, because our landlord in Hook has submitted a planning application to convert our current offices in Acorn House from commercial to residential, we will be forced to leave in early 2018. However, we are on the look-out for suitable alternatives in Hart to ensure we still have a strong local presence in the east of our area and will keep you updated as we have more news.
