The changes mean the average salary will increase by almost £1,000 a year, with additional opportunities for gaining new work qualifications.

Along with hourly rates increasing, the home and live-in care provider has also raised salaries for their long serving staff, as well as continuing with key benefits like the WPA health insurance incentives.

Phil Miles, Director of Bluebird Care said,

“Bluebird Care has always strived to revolutionise the way the care industry functions and this move to increase salaries is totally in line with that.

The champions of our industry are those that are going out every day supporting our customers in whatever way they require. Our staff often go above and beyond what is expected of them, and this is a way we have endeavoured to show our appreciation of all their hard work.

The recent opening of our new Care Hub in Kingsclere has also been well received by staff. It’s a place they can go to relax, reflect and replenish in our new carers lounge. Our staff mean a lot to us, and we look for every opportunity to show them that!”
