Bluebird Care is celebrating Christmas Jumper Day, an annual campaign run by Save The Children on 13th December.

Christmas Jumper Day aims to raise important funds to support children across the world. The money raised can help them grow up healthy and safe, and get an important education, so they can have a bright future. It could go towards antibiotics to fight pneumonia, pay for a child’s school fees to allow them to get an education, or support a young person to build a new life if they are forced to leave home.

Save The Children is the UK’s leading charity to help protect children who are impacted by health, hunger and war. For a century they have stood up for children to make sure their voices are heard. In 2018 they helped children survive by:

• protecting children in humanitarian emergencies from disease/hunger

• tackling pneumonia, the biggest infectious killer of children

• fighting malnutrition, the underlying cause of one third of child deaths

• feeding thousands of children at risk of starvation in Yemen

“At Bluebird Care  we will be taking part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise important funds for Save The Children. The work that Save The Children does is so important, and we want to ensure that children everywhere across the world live the happy and healthy lives they deserve. We will be wearing our brightest and best jumpers on the 13th December and we invite you to join us!”
