Bluebird Care Slough, S.Bucks & S.Wycombe will be raising funds for cancer charities CLIC Sargent, Cancer Recovery-UK and Kids ‘N’ Cancer.

The event, from 2-5pm, will feature inflatables, the chance to get up close and learn about chickens and rabbits in the animal petting corner, an Air Brush Tattoo Artist, variety of stalls, BBQ and raffle. Prizes include entry to Jump In Trampoline Arena, Odds Farm Park tickets, a round of golf at Maidenhead Gold Club, one-hour facial treatment and a meal for two at the Dukes Head pub.

Our care manager Nicky Beadle’s son Charlie, who attends the Garrards Road school, has been receiving treatment in the UK and US, supported by the three charities.

Nicky commented:

The event has been organised by my deputy Katy Cresswell to say thank you to the three charities, which made Charlie’s recent trip to the US for proton beam therapy possible.  It will also be a fun-filled fantastic afternoon for the children, their families and local people.”
Director of Bluebird Care Slough, S.Bucks & S.Wycombe, Anne Inglis said;

We were delighted to support Nicky, Charlie and the rest of the family by sponsoring the fete for three such fantastic causes. The work they do transforms the lives of so many people and it promises to be a great community event for all.”
