Care Assistant of the Month – December/January

Published: 12/02/2020

Cambridge's Care Assistant of the Month for December and January have been announced...

Leeanne and Karen have been awarded the care assistant of the month awards for December and January.

Congratulations to Leeanne Parker (December) and Karen Cooley (January) who were named Care Assistant of the Month for our Cambridge office.

Leeanne, who only recently passed her probation period, has gone from strength to strength within her role, and is looking forward to joining her career pathway with Bluebird Care.

Karen Cooley has shown great enthusiasm towards her role, and is fully deserving of the CAOTM award for January. A valued member of our team, Karen continually displays fantastic time and record keeping, qualities which are particularly important for a care assistant!

The Bluebird Care career pathway

As a company, we know our staff are our most important asset, so offer every one of them the opportunity to progress.

Every new staff member must complete an initial probationary training period, during which they will receive the tools needed to undertake their daily roles effectively.

Then they are given the opportunity to progress to a care mentor, coordinator or supervisor role, with the end goal of being a manager in their chosen area. We’ll also support their development through qualifications, with a number of our staff working towards NVQs.
