Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is supporting this year’s Nutrition & Hydration Week which runs from 13 – 19 March 2017.

Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead is hoping to raise awareness of good nutrition and hydration and promote the importance of maintaining healthy eating throughout the Borough of Camden, including Camden Town, Hampstead, Haverstock, Belsize Park, Steeles Village, Primrose Hill, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Highgate, Gospel Oak, Kentish Town, Kings Cross, St Pancras, Regent’s Park, Swiss Cottage, Cantelowes, Bloomsbury, Fortune Green, Frognal and Fitzjohns, Somers Town, Holborn, Seven Dials and Covent Garden. Nutrition & Hydration Week aims to highlight and promote nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and even globally.

As part of this awareness week Nutricia, an organisation who offer advice on advanced medical nutrition, have put together a fact sheet highlighting what a healthy diet entails and tips to improve nutrition. Some of these tips include having plenty of starchy foods, along with fruit and vegetables as well as focusing on foods that are a good energy source. If you would like to find out more, you can download the Nutricia fact sheet here.

George Morris, director of Bluebird Care Camden & Hampstead, commented:

Nutrition and hydration are very important issues in society and as a care provider, it is important that we do all we can to support and educate our community on these issues. We encourage everyone to visit the campaign website and download the factsheet which contains key advice on nutrition.”
