Bluebird Care Cheshire East Plans to Tackle Rising Demand for Dementia Care Services and Access to Care in Rural Areas Under New Owner

Local home care provider, Bluebird Care Cheshire East, has welcomed a new owner. Under the leadership of new Director, Liam Jones-Davies, the home care team are set to grow and expand their delivery of home care services to the local community.

The team of 25 care experts at Bluebird Care Cheshire East provide care to keep people safe in their own homes. They currently support 31 customers aged between 8 and 98 years of age with a comprehensive range of services including live-in care, respite care, dementia care, support for a range of physical and learning disabilities, including specialised care for children.

Now, under the new direction of Director Jones-Davies, the home care team plans to grow and expand in order to help tackle the rising demand across Cheshire East for dementia care. The home care provider will be doubling their efforts in this important area of care, and introducing enhanced training opportunities to their care experts, to help support the estimated 5,730 people over the age of 65 living with dementia in Cheshire East.

With this new chapter, the team at Bluebird Care Cheshire East is also equipped to tackle the pressing need to bring high-quality care services at home to people in more remote areas of the region – making sure that everyone who needs to can access essential care services, including live-in care, even in isolated locations.

Bluebird Care Cheshire East has been serving the local community since its inception in 2011. Recognising the increasing demand for care at home, the introduction of a new Director to Bluebird Care Cheshire East will ensure the provider is equipped for a long future of enabling local people to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes for as long as possible.

Bluebird Care Cheshire East is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and care services in England.

Liam Jones-Davies, Director of Bluebird Care Cheshire East, reflected on the start of this new journey saying:

I am excited to embark on this new chapter of our journey and immensely proud to join the outstanding team at Bluebird Care Cheshire East In particular, I am honoured to be able to contribute to making a meaningful difference to people’s lives – including by offering live-in care services to meet the rising demand for people remaining at home for longer as they age and avoiding relocation to a residential care setting.
