DEMENTIA AWARENESS DAY AUGUST 19TH
We have an incredible day lined up on August 19th which will be taking place in our office at Elmstead Market.

Firstly we have the team at Training2Care operating the 'Virtual Dementia Tour Bus'.

This is an immersive experience which gives people an insight into what it is like living with dementia. We have been on the Virtual Dementia Tour before and it is such an insightful experience.

It is perfect for any care sector professional or family member who knows someone with dementia and wants to better understand their position.

Tickets are being sold at a reduced rate of £50 and the experience lasts 3 hours. Please get in contact if you would like to book a slot or would like further information.

Next up we will be running two Dementia Friends sessions which last an hour each. They will be delivered by Rob Wallace who is our Dementia Champion. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals or businesses to become more dementia friendly/aware. Dementia Friends

And last but not least, we will be launching our very own state of the art Sensory Room!!!

A sensory room offers a therapeutic space for children and adults with autism and other special needs. It is a special room designed to develop a person's sense, usually through special lighting, music, and objects.

We welcome everyone and anyone to come and have a look, with the option to book the room going forward.
What a day! Any questions - please get in touch!
