Bluebird Care Cornwall North employee raises money for the Sunrise Clinic

On Sunday 15th May, Jess Mallett, one of our care assistants, took part in the Ten Tors walk in aid of Cancer Research.
On Sunday 15th May, Jess Mallett, one of our care assistants, took part in the Ten Tors walk in aid of Cancer Research.Jess walked 13.5 miles and managed to raise a total of £240 for the Sunrise Clinic based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.
Jess commented:
I chose this charity because they have done an excellent job with helping my ex-employer and good friend recover from cancer. I really enjoyed my experience of Ten Tors. My partner and I finished 160th place out of 325 people who took part. Minus the sunburn and achy legs, it was all worth it!"
