We supported the British Heart Foundation's WearIt. BeatIt Campaign

On Friday 5th February we supported the British Heart Foundation's "WearIt.BeatIt" Campaign by holding a red bake sale in our Ottery St Mary Office.

February is Heart Month and this year the British Heart Foundation are urging people to take healthy steps to help improve their heart health as well as support their annual fundraiser, Wear it. Beat it.

There are currently seven million people in the UK living with cardiovascular disease, which includes heart attack and stroke. However, in many cases people can help reduce their risk of these conditions by improving their diet, doing more physical activity and quitting smoking.

So, on Friday 5th February we supported the British Heart Foundation's "WearIt.BeatIt" Campaign by holding a red bake sale in our Ottery St Mary Office!

We had a wide selection of red treats for people to buy made by our office team and care workers!

By participating in Wear it. Beat it. we helped to win the fight for every heartbeat by raising money to help the British Heart Foundation in:
  • Finding treatments that transform the lives of people with heart disease
  • Supporting over 1,000 pioneering research projects on heart and cardiovascular disease
  • Supporting BHF healthcare professionals to care for people

We raised a fantastic amount and would like to thank everyone who came along and gave so generously!
