Invitation: Virtual Christmas Jumper Day and Afternoon Tea at Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden

For the last 10 years at Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden, we have held this event at Christmas to raise money for this amazing charity, Save the Children. Unfortunately we are having to adapt and restrict it to staff only for our online event due to the numbers. It's an opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy tea, cake and have some fun. This year with COVID everything is different but we want to keep our event alive for our staff to enjoy, so what better way of having fun together than from the comfort of our own homes with a Christmas Zoom!

A treat bag will be prepared for each member of staff to collect on Wednesday the 9th of December ready for the event on Friday the 11th 1pm-2pm. Hopefully this time will allow everyone to be present, after lunch calls, before school runs to enable us to have some much needed time together. We ask that if everyone can please donate £3 between now and then this is the equivalent to what we usually do with our change box on the food table in the office, only this year your bag of treats can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home! £3 includes one strip of raffle tickets, your home goodie bag and entry to our Christmas zoom!
If you are in a position too please feel free to donate what you can as every penny goes towards the save the children charity who have helped above and beyond supporting families and children during the pandemic.
Additional raffle tickets are now on sale £1 per additional strips with many prizes to be won, including chocolates, Prosecco and Mrs Hinch's latest book! We will hold the ticket book and will place the tickets in a jar so they are only being handled by one person, please donate your raffle money on Justgiving and the winning numbers will be called during our Christmas zoom so have your numbers at the ready.
