Bluebird Care Edinburgh are delighted to be invited to an event on 3rd February after participating in the ‘Voices from the Front Line’ research project.

There has been a tremendous amount of interest from organisations and individuals, in the research project which demonstrates both the relevance and importance of hearing the experiences and ideas of the expert workforce at the front line of social care in Scotland.

A report is being put together using the findings of the research, and will be shared at the event. As well as launching the report, there will be group discussions and workshops to explore how one can develop support workers skills, commitment and their aspirations.  It is essential that front line support workers be involved in this.

Also there will be various guest speakers at the event, including Aileen Campbell, Minister for Children and Young People and Alan Baird, Chief Social Work Advisor.

After taking part in this research, our care assistants – Catherine Boyd, Jo Samson, Leisa Cormack and Nikki Lee Crombie have been invited to this important event.

Well done ladies! We look forward to adding updates to our news section after the event.
