Bluebird Care Epping & Harlow took part in the St Margaret’s Hospital’s Street Party through the Ages on the 18th June.

The annual summer fete at Ashlar House was held with a twist this year due to the Queen’s 90th birthday. The theme for the fete was ‘partying through the ages’ with rooms themed for different decades. Bluebird Care Epping & Harlow were in the 80s themed room and raised money for the Alzheimer’s Society with their guess how many sweets in a jar stall! Throughout the day there were competitions, cakes, refreshments and a barbeque.

Bluebird Care Epping and Harlow even had the local MP for Epping Forest, Eleanor Laing, visit the stall! Eleanor Laing has been the MP for Epping Forest since 1997 and was elected deputy speaker of the House of Commons in October 2013.

The Street Party through the Ages went really well with Bluebird Care Epping & Harlow raising a total of £55 for The Alzheimer’s Society.
