Our Manager - Joanne Prebble

The end of 2017 proved a difficult period for Bluebird Care Brentwood. When manager Joanne Prebble was running close to her home whilst training for the London marathon she was involved in a road accident, which left Joanne seriously injured.  As the manager of Bluebird Care Brentwood, Joanne is the glue that holds the office together . She congratulates us when we perform above expectations, and advises us on any occasions we may find difficult. It goes without saying that in Jo's absence there was a large piece of our puzzle missing. Jo constantly shows a  strategic and dynamic approach to problem solving, credible listening skills and immense determination in all that she does. Due to Jo's commitment to her own job role she is a credible motivator to everyone around her. 
As office manager Jo holds responsibility for the interests and well-being for all our customers and staff, as well as assisting with the efficient day-to-day running of the Essex West operations. Joanne oversees the recruitment process to ensure we hire the best personnel to compliment our already outstanding team, as well as ensuring all customers receive the highest level of home care services. Joanne has risen through the ranks since starting at Bluebird Care in 2013, previously holding Care Coordinator and Care Supervisor roles prior to taking up the role of office manager. Since becoming manager Joanne has successfully ensured Bluebird Care Essex West uphold their CQC rating of "Good".

Joanne is a well equipped office manager with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Dementia awareness training. Joanne is currently furthering her knowledge and partaking in Level 4  QCF qualification in Team Leadership.

I enjoy ensuring the smooth, efficient running of day to day operations, lending my skills to any colleagues in need  and most importantly ensuring our customers receive a flawless, personalized home care service.
