Care workers are entitled to a free annual flu vaccination. We have not been given any advice as to the form of identification needed to prove that you are entitled, and this will be up to your own GP, or a pharmacy offering the service. We would expect that your Bluebird Care ID badge should be sufficient. If any of you need further proof, we will be happy to give you a letter on our headed paper.

We do urge you to have the flu jab. Protecting yourself from flu, as far as you can, protects our vulnerable customers, for whom flu could be fatal. It also protects you from catching flu from customers, with whom you work at such close quarters.
