Award winning homecare provider Bluebird Care Greenwich is sponsoring the Poppy Run on November 3rd, which is raising funds for the Royal British Legion.

The race takes place within the beautiful scenic grounds of Avery Hill Park and there will be spot prizes and a great medal to all finishers!

The Royal British Legion is the largest Armed Forces charity which provides support for members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. Created in 1921, the charity has been raising funds to provide life long support, even after service is over. From recovery to rehabilitation and helping the transition to civilian life.

Anoop Sekhon, Director of Bluebird Care Greenwich, commented:

“Taking part in the Poppy Run is a great way to donate and help provide vital support to those in the Armed Forces community.

You can choose to do 2, 4 or 6 miles or a family fun run. Whether you jog or run, you’ll be making a difference to someone’s life who has sacrificed much for our country.

Bluebird Care Greenwich is delighted to be able to sponsor the Poppy Run and help the Armed Forces and their families.”
