Our induction programme is delivered by Tracey, who is passionate about the high quality care through interactive and enjoyable training.

Tracey has worked in healthcare since 2004 and gained experience in the roles of Care Assistant, Supervisor and Care Manager prior to taking a step of delivering training on an independent basis.

We recently spent some time with Tracey, who explained:
I love delivering training! It does not really feel like work; it is more like having great fun every day! On a serious point however, high quality training is vital and it is my responsibility to ensure staff are equipped to fulfil their roles.

Before commencing my role as a professional trainer, I completed a three month 'train the trainer' course to equip me with the skills that I need to pass my knowledge onto others.

I generally run training in groups of 3 - 8 people and believe that you can only really train others if you have had hands on experience. This I certainly do have and can therefore pass on real life tips or examples.

In addition to this, it is very important that training is delivered face to face. This is the case with every training course that I run as it gives those attending the chance to ask questions and absorb what they learn in a way that online training does not.
