Carla Whitbread

Falls Care Champion

I have worked for Bluebird Care since 2017.

I love my job, caring for those that need extra assistance or for those that just like a friendly chat.

It's the most rewarding job, just to see people's smiles and gratitude for the smallest of things we do.

Jordan Byrne

Director

Hi, I’m Jordan Byrne, the proud owner of Bluebird Care Medway! I studied management at the London School of Economics and spent some time on the MBA program at Yale. Before getting into homecare, I worked in finance in the City of London and across Europe. But what has always driven me is making a real difference in people’s lives.

My decision to lead this homecare agency is personal. Having experienced the need for care within my own family, I understand firsthand the impact it can have—not only on those receiving care but also on their loved ones. Too often, we forget the strain that falls on family members, who give so much of themselves to ensure their relatives are looked after. This understanding motivates me every day.

There is an infectious belief among our staff, and within the local community, that we truly have the best carers in the area. Therefore, I have always seen that my main role is to support the team so they can focus on doing what they do best—delivering exceptional care to you and your loved ones. It’s my job to make sure they have everything they need to make your journey easier, and to make it the best experience possible.

I don’t take the responsibility of running this company lightly. I know how important this service is, and I’m dedicated to ensuring that you can trust us every step of the way. You can count on me and my team to provide the care and attention you deserve. We and I will not let you down

Sean Byrne

Head Of Innovation & Growth

Hello! My name is Sean, my role here at Bluebird Care is to help make the lives of staff as easy as possible through operational efficiency so our Bluebird Care teams can focus on what we do best, delivering the highest quality care! My, background has involved a few different experiences. I have previously worked at the West Ham United First Team as a sports scientist from 2019 to 2021! Following that, I worked in a start-up company as an operational lead and technology consultant. Where me and my team built the company's presence in the local community whilst focusing on how to run our day-to-day operations as efficiently as possible to benefit our staff. Following this I took on a very high-pressure role as a lead recruitment consultant for a fast-growing company in London where we doubled our headcount in 6 months. I am so excited to be part of the Bluebird Care family, the work that everyone does here is so impactful to the community and I am looking forward to meeting everyone who is a part of this amazing company and hearing and being a part of all about the great work that everyone does day to day.
