Bluebird Care Medway Job Fair

Pentagon Job Fair held on 1st September 2016

Care Supervisor Sharon K and PA to Director Hannah W attended Medway Job Fair on 1st September 2016 at the Pentagon Shopping Centre, Chatham.

The Medway Job Fair was organised by Chatham Jobcentre Plus and was visited by approximately 2000 members of the public.

Local MP Tracey Crouch gave a presentation on the employability of people with disabilities and advised on how employers could adapt and amend job roles for valued members of staff who may have developed a disability.

It was a great event and gave employers a chance to mingle and discuss the challenges faced in recruiting the correct people for the respective job roles. 

Bluebird Care Medway collated a list of nearly 100 candidates who were interested in joining the care sector. Some of these candidates have been successful in their application and will be joining the team when they have successfully passed their training and competence checks.
