Great Cornish Cake Bake

Our Bake Sale in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care took place this afternoon, and we are happy to report that it was a great success!

Between 11am and 4pm today, the Bluebird office held a Bake Sale as part of the 'Great Cornish Cake Bake', organised by and in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.

Many of our Carers and office staff provided home-made goodies; including Stephanie's triple-layer chocolate gataux, Sarah's famous Cornish Hevva cake, and assortments of cupcakes with piped cream frosting, fruit and nut flapjacks, cookies, cakes, drizzles, sticky toffee... A huge range of baked goods for all to enjoy!

We had visits from some of our Care Workers, employees from the surrounding offices and workplaces, and many of our donations came from passers-by. We are incredibly grateful for every penny donated to this very worthy cause, and are so pleased to announce that we raised a grand total of £275.13 this afternoon!
