Yesterday was truly special as our Managing Director had the chance to attend the Parkinson’s New Forest branch meeting. The gathering was both educational and heartwarming, filled with insightful talks and inspiring stories.

One of the highlights was an intriguing talk about famous film stars and TV personalities who have connections to the Isle of Wight. It was fascinating to learn about these local ties to the entertainment world!

The team at Age Concern from the Waterside also shared valuable insights into their volunteer efforts and professional services, including their nail cutting service. Their dedication to supporting the community is truly commendable.

Meeting the wives of ex-customers who are now actively volunteering was particularly inspiring. It showcased the essential support system available for carers of those living with Parkinson’s. Their commitment and compassion are a beacon of hope and a great reminder of the power of community.
