This year Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland held a charity fun day in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, on Sunday the 30th of August at Doddington playing field.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provide care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. They’ve been carrying out their work for over 65 years – last year alone they cared for over 40,000 people from across the UK.

We are delighted to say that our charity fun day was a roaring success. On the day there were many activities taking place including charity stalls, a bouncy castle and the main event of course being the friendly football match between Charity FC & Benwick FC.

Thanks to the help and support from all involved we were able to raise a total of £400, which will be donated to Marie Curie.

Here at Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland, we would like to thank everyone who helped out, made donations and who came along on the day.
