Bluebird Care Winners at The Stars of Social Care Awards

Bluebird Care celebrated a successful evening at The Stars of Social Care Awards, with two team members receiving top honours, alongside one individual and one office being highly commended.

In a ceremony held at a central London hotel on the 14^th June, Bluebird Care celebrated a successful evening at The Stars of Social Care Awards, with two team members receiving top honours, alongside one individual and one office being highly commended. Hosted by actress and TV personality Josie Gibson, the awards event acknowledges the commitment and dedication of the social care workforce, giving them the recognition they deserve.

A huge congratulations to Valeria Priore, who won The Dedicated Home Care Co-Ordinator Award! This award celebrates individuals who have shown outstanding leadership, inspiration, and support to their teams, ensuring high-quality and efficient customer care. For more than 11 years, Valeria has been a cornerstone at Bluebird Care Westminster, excelling in coordination and building strong hospital partnerships. 

Another huge well done to Julie McLellan, who won the Outstanding Contribution to Home Care Award! This award celebrates an individual who has consistently and significantly enhanced the lives of others through exceptional work in delivering care home services. Over the past 11 years, Julie has led Bluebird Care North Tyneside as Director, where her focus on customer satisfaction has built a dedicated and loyal team. Under Julie’s leadership, the team has built an outstanding reputation.

We are also proud to congratulate Dana Redondo who received high commendation for the Recruitment and Retention Award. This award celebrates those who have improved recruitment and retention, driving employee motivation and delivering high-quality hiring practices. Dana recruits eight new candidates monthly for Bluebird Care, managing both Wandsworth and Clapham & Streatham offices. 

Another special mention to Bluebird Care Southend, highly commended for The Best Franchisee Award. This award recognises a franchisee who demonstrates excellent staff retention, training, and development. Bluebird Care Southend empowers and prioritises staff well-being with personalised support. They actively engage with the community, and volunteer for local initiatives. An outstanding 99% quality audit score and their Bluebird Care Gold Award underscore their brilliance!
