Merry Christmas to all! A quick recap of our office opening hours. Stay safe and take care.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas from all the team at Bluebird Care, Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick. We hope that you and your loved ones have a safe, happy and joyful time.

Our Christmas Campaign

We are so proud of our care team, for ensuring that we provide the highest quality care at home to those across Bedale, Catterick, Easingwold, Northallerton, Stokesly and Thirsk. Not forgetting our brilliant live-in care team!

This festive period has been busy ensuring that all our customers receive the home care they require, whilst also making sure our care team get time off to enjoy with their loved ones. We hope that you should all have received your lovely Bluebird Care branded Christmas card in the post by now.

On Friday 10th December we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day. This appeal meant that we could all spread a little bit of Christmas cheer by wearing our Christmas jumpers or Christmas hats and tinsel for our care assistants who were working that day. Whilst raising donations to the Save the Children UK appeal, the office team also donated items to create hampers for two customers who we wanted to spread festive cheer to.  

As we deliver home care across Hambleton and Richmondshire, it was only right to select two customers from both of these areas. After a vote from our care team, Mr B and Mrs S were both over the moon to receive their hampers, delivered by our own Santa Claus’s: Luke and Jo S.

12 days of Christmas

With that being said, we couldn’t be prouder of our Bluebird Angels and how hard they work each day to deliver our personalised care service. That’s why we created our own 12 days of Christmas Facebook campaign on the run up to Christmas which covered each of our values. Our values are at the heart of everything we do to keep our customers safe, happy and secure .

Day 1 - We are Professional and Respected

We are so proud of our score of 9.8/10 on homecare.co.uk! This is calculated from our wonderful customer feedback. "Your staff are very caring and are committed to their work. Nothing is too much trouble."

Day 2 - We are Kind and Caring

Our care team are truly wonderful. Not only are they helping people live their best life from the comfort of their own home, but they are always thinking about others!

Day 3 - We are Supportive

We would like to thank all our amazing staff who support us with emergency on call throughout the year. 👏

Not only do they support the care team, but they also support vulnerable customers in their time of need.  We could not do this without the amazing on call team. Thank you so much Selina, Emma, Suzanne, Lucy, Luke, Laura, Olivia and Lauren!

Day 4 - We are Passionate

All the Bluebird Care team are passionate about being the perfect care at home companion!  It is our absolute pleasure to provide home care and live-in care to those across Hambleton and Richmondshire.

Day 5 - We are Innovative

We love to communicate openly with our care team and customers! We continue to focus on creating more engaging and interesting value based newsletters and updates.

Day 6 - We are Fun

We love to hear about the fun activities that our care team and customers get up to . Did you know that our Bluebird Care bears were knitted by a customer and Bluebird Care angel? How wonderful!

Day 7 - We are Kind

We are so proud of our team and the difference they make each and every day to our customers.

Day 8 - Be Well

Now more than ever we want to support our team's mental wellbeing; we have our mental health first aider, wellbeing bookcase and confidential telephone counselling hotline

Day 9 - Be Welcome

Our socially distanced doors are always open for our team.

As Tracey said in our latest recruitment video: "Pick up the phone. Phone Bluebird. Speak to anybody in the office there. Speak to one of us. If you see the car going past, wave at us. We'll stop and say hi!"

Day 10 - Be Inspired                                                                                                

Our care team are absolutely amazing! To say a small thank you, we drew names out of the Santa Hat for one lucky care assistant to win a hamper of yummy goodies! The name drawn is.......Selina! Congratulations

Day 11 - Be Informed

We love communicating with our customers and our team of care assistants!

We wanted to spread some festive cheer, which is why we have been doing our own fundraising to create two hampers for two very special customers.

Day 12 - Be Safe

The safety of our customers and care team is, and always has been, our first priority.
