On 20 September we completed a 10k memory walk which started at the Baltic Square in Newcastle.
Over 1,000 people strolled along the Tyne and supported the Alzheimer’s Society. The memory walk was a fantastic way to get involved and help raise much-needed funds for people living with Dementia.
Workers, family and a customer volunteered their time to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. In total we raised £400.
Funds raised today and through sponsorship help Alzheimer’s Society fund local services such as Dementia Cafes, Singing for the Brain and a national helpline as well as helping to fund research to find a cure for dementia.”
