Congratulations to Clare, Dawn and Jade on their NCFE Dementia qualification

Well done to Clare, Dawn and Jade for completing the NCFE Level 2 in Dementia qualification....

We would like to congratulate two of our hard working care assistants Clare, Dawn and Jade for completing the NCFE Level 2 in Dementia qualification.

This qualification has helped Clare, Dawn and Jade to develop their understanding and knowledge of dementia care such as the importance of being involved with appropriate social activities that will engage the customer. It also covers the influence of positive communication methods, what issues there are in regards to the use of medication for people with dementia and looks into person-centred approach to the care and support of individuals with dementia.

The course also our care assistants to understand equality, diversity and inclusion in dementia and also understand behaviour in the context of dementia.
