“Go Quackers for Break”

The River Wensum in Norwich will be awash with fund-raising plastic ducks on Saturday 2nd August 2014. Entertainment starts from 2pm. Ducks will race from St George’s Bridge (on St George’s Street, near to the Norwich Playhouse and Norwich School of Art) to Fye Bridge, at the Ribs of Beef pub.

3pm: Corporate Duck Race.

Look out for our Bluebird Care , Daisy Duck , and her lovely friend Miss Duckworth amongst a hundred large, decorated ducks.

4pm: Individuals’ Duck Race

Why not join the fun and sponsor a duck for just £2, there are lots of prizes to be won! Details will be available to staff at the next staff meeting and for our customers via the office team.

All money raised is in support of the Break Charity. Break’s vision is to ensure children, young people and families reach their full potential and shape their own futures in a safe and creative environment.

After the race all the ducks are made ready for our Grand Norwich Duck Auction on Thursday 14 August, where the crafted ducks will be sold to ‘change young lives’.
