Originally booked in June 2019, Director John Keogh was part of a wider team that took part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 23 April 2022 raising funds for Springhill Hospice.

The team was initially drawn from a number of local gents who came together in early 2018 as part of the Man Vs Fat programme. When that trial finished in December of the same year, the group continued to grow and local teacher, Joe Shepherd, has been organising football and other physical challenges, encouraging all to live well and stay active. The group originally planned to take part in this challenge in April 2020 with accommodation booked the previous June prior to Covid 19 breaking out.

They stayed in Broadrake Bunkbarn and walked via Ingleborough (723 metres), Pen-Y-Ghent (694 metres) and Whernside (736 metres). The first members back managed to get round in less than 10 hours, where the average or suggested time is 12 hours.
