Sonjha goes from care assistant to care manager!

Sonjha joined Bluebird Care Solihull in February 2015 as a care assistant and in January of this year has been promoted to care manager.

Sonjha joined Bluebird Care Solihull in February 2015 as a care assistant and in January of this year has been promoted to care manager.

Sonjha joined our team with determination to have a career in care. Sonjha found her role of care assistant very rewarding, particularly the relationship aspect with the customers. At the end of 2015, Sonjha decided to take a new career path within Bluebird Care Solihull and was promoted to care coordinator. We strongly believe in promoting staff within the team and support every team member in their chosen career path any way we can. 

The care coordinator role was a completely new experience for Sonjha, learning new skills and taking on further responsibilities. This was a very fulfilling role, knowing all customers would receive their care allowing them to live an independently as possible. We believe in investing in our people and earlier this year an opportunity arose within the team for a new care manager. This was the perfect opportunity for Sonjha who is now looking forward to developing her management skills as care manager at Bluebird Care Solihull.
