We held our annual refresher training in Medication Administration and Moving and Handling for our long standing care staff in our offices today.

Refresher training aids in keeping our care staff up to date with any changes to legislation and also furthers their skills and knowledge in these areas.

We do enjoy the practical side of the training, as each member of staff took it in turn to experience what it is like to be transferred using a hoist, return stand and slide sheet, this helps all staff to deliver high quality care when in the field when assisting our customers in the community to transfer using equipment.
