Care Assistant of the Month - June 2018

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the Carer of the Month for June 2018 is Lesley Fernihough!

Lesley is one of our senior care assistants and support supervisors at Bluebird Care Solihull and has been with the company for 2 and half years. Lesley acts as a mentor for new staff and we receive positive comments from staff that have been shadowing Lesley in their first weeks, especially those who are new to care, commenting that they have learnt so much.

Lesley always goes over and above for all of her customers and colleagues, ensuring she reports any concerns or changes to a customer’s health or wellbeing. Lesley has a big heart and caring nature, and works extremely well with all of her customers.

Lesley was recently involved in a situation which resulted in a customer falling unconscious following a fall at their home and breaking their hip. This was dealt with exceptionally on Lesley’s behalf, ensuring that the customer received the advanced care that they needed very quickly without panic.

Well done Lesley, your customers are lucky to have you.
