October Staff Meeting

With so many people running about all over the county all day, it is impossible to get everyone in one place at the same time, but this time we came close!

Sometimes sending a memo just isn't enough so every few months we get as many people together as possible and have open discussions about what is going on: new technologies, regulations, training, working practices etc.  Then there is always time for some coffee and cake afterwards!

This month we had an extremely insightful guest speaker in the form of one of our customers who lives with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).  He described the challenges he faces daily, and indeed how they change at different times of the day.  This is an excellent way for staff to pick up an initial understanding of a customer's condition if they have not already received specific training.
