Bluebird Customer Treat To The Beach

Our 97 year old customer Win wanted to visit the beach again - we made this happen for her as a Bluebird treat.

Win had mentioned a few times to the Bluebird team that she would love to visit the beach again, to feel the sand on her toes and hear the sound of the waves.

So that is the exact experience we gave to Win! Our two Community Care Lead's, Claire and Kirstie took Win to Weymouth for the day. 

The accessible wheelchairs made available by Weymouth beach meant Win was able to get access to the water and dip her toes in!

Obviously, it wouldn't be a beach day without fish & chips and an ice-cream. 

It was an honour to be able to be able to fulfil this wish for Win, thank you so much to Kirstie and Claire for making this happen for Win.
