Bluebird Care Stafford's upcoming 'Big Raffle'.

We are currently caring for customer living with a rare terminal illness and her last wish is to be sat by a swimming pool with her husband, a book and a cocktail, time for her to forget about hospitals, hospices, blood tests and scans. She has booked a cruise as she is unable to fly any longer due to a deterioration in her condition. The cruise goes to the South of France, Spain, Portugal and back again and this will be her first holiday since 2018. However, the cost of her medical insurance surpasses that of the cruise itself. In light of this, we are committed to supporting her by fundraising to cover these expenses.

Despite her own challenges, this remarkable individual has dedicated herself to fundraising for charities, notably Katherine House Hospice. Now, it's our turn to reciprocate and offer her the respite she so rightfully deserves.

Raffle tickets are now on sale at £2 a strip or 3 strips for £5 and we have some amazing prizes to be won. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 24^th May during our customer coffee morning.

We have also set up a JustGiving page and would greatly appreciate your support in making this endeavour a success by contributing prizes to our raffle or purchasing tickets. With your generosity, we aim to maximise ticket sales and raise a total of £1500.

Update

The raffle was drawn on Friday, 24th May, during our coffee morning with our customers and we are extremely proud to have raised a whopping £900. It was a delightful event filled with laughter and anticipation as everyone eagerly awaited the announcement of the winners. The coffee morning provided a perfect setting for the raffle, offering a relaxed atmosphere where customers could enjoy delicious pastries, freshly brewed coffee, and engaging conversations.

We were thrilled to see such a great turnout and appreciated the enthusiastic participation from everyone. The funds raised will significantly make a difference to our much loved customer who has expressed her gratitude:
