Our Summer Raffle Event was a tremendous success!!

This special gathering was dedicated to raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, and it turned out to be a delightful day filled with fun, games, and camaraderie.

We invited our customers, staff, friends, and their families, to join us in our charitable endeavour. The response was heartwarming, with a lovely turnout that set the tone for an enjoyable day.

Our event featured an array of classic fair games, including ring toss, beanbag throw, and tin can alley, which sparked a bit of friendly competition among participants. One of the highlights was our creatively adapted table-top Egg and Spoon race, ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, could participate and have fun. To keep the entertainment going throughout the day, we offered various tabletop games and held a quiz, featuring a famous faces round that saw enthusiastic participation from everyone. Guests were also treated to a complimentary lunch, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all and at the end of the event, all customers were given a small trophy as a keepsake to remember their latest sports day events.

Thanks to the generosity of our staff and customers, we were able to organise a fantastic raffle and tombola, which significantly contributed to our fundraising efforts. The event successfully raised over £188, which is an incredible amount that will go towards supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.

The Summer Event at Anslow Village Hall was more than just a fundraiser; it was a celebration of community and togetherness. The friendship and fun shared by everyone was clear from the positive feedback we received:

Our next gathering is a Coffee Morning at our office on August 30th from 11 am to 1 pm. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming some new ones too!
