September 2020 Employee of the Month

We are delighted to announce the Employees of the Month for September 2020.

Each month we recognise a member from each of our local area teams who has really shone in the month through customer and peer feedback, working values, and consistency.  Each award winner is recognised at our monthly team meetings, and receives a certificate, voucher, chocolates and flowers.

Oakham/Rutland Team

Congratulations to Care Assistant, Tanya who has been recognised as Septembers Employee of the Month for September 2020. 

Tanya was nominated for the overall, excellent feedback from her customers and their family.

Recently, Tanya received extremely praise by the relatives of a customer and Bluebird Care Management, when the customer had a medical emergency whilst in Tanyas care. During this emergency, Tanya expressed a high level of calm and professionalism. She not only made sure that the customer received the medical attention she required but she offered emotional support to the family.

She is always showing eagerness to learn and is very good with reporting concerns regarding medication.  Well done Tanya!  A well deserved award.

Stamford Team

Congratulations to Care Assistant, Karen B, who has been awarded Stamford Employee of the Month for September 2020.

Karen was nominated for the support she provides to the carer team in the field and the office staff.  Karen has played a key part in supporting the team, and is quick to help, offer advice and support to all, and is truly dedicated to advocating and demonstrating true Bluebird Care values and excellent care.

Karen has also received ongoing excellent feedback from customers and their families that she regularly cares for, and is always passionate about every customer and the care she delivers.

We surprised Karen at her customers home to deliver her award!

Live-In Carer Team

A big WELL DONE to Live in Carer, Patricia M who has achieved Employee of the Month for September for the Live in Care Team.

Patricia was nominated for this award due to the remarkable care that she delivered with the highest level of compassion for her customer who had had a recent spell in hospital.  Upon discharge home, Patricia ensured that the customer was not only safe and comfortable when brought home, but stayed up late with her, providing support and comfort as the customer adjusted to being back home.

Patricia has received high praised for her kindness and politeness from both customers, colleagues and relatives of her customer this month, and always assures care and support to the highest Bluebird Care standards.
