‘Caring and Compassionate’ Local Home Care Team Recognised for Outstanding Care and Leadership

A local home care provider has received glowing praise in a recent inspection by the healthcare regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Inspectors from the CQC visited Bluebird Care Stratford and Warwick visited the service recently and awarded the team a rating of ‘Good’, with an ‘Outstanding’ rating given for its leadership. They described the home care team as ‘caring and compassionate’ and applauded the strong relationships built with customers and their families.

The CQC inspection report highlighted Bluebird Care's dedication to prioritising the safety and well-being of its customers while fostering an exceptional standard of leadership.

People receiving care and their relatives were “overwhelmingly positive about consistent and high-quality standards of care which enabled people to remain living in their own homes and communities”, read the inspection report written by inspectors following their visit.

Testimonials captured in the report praised the caring and professional nature of the care experts, emphasising the trust, confidence, and sense of security they instilled in customers.

In addition to customer feedback, staff members echoed sentiments of fulfilment and pride in their roles at Bluebird Care Stratford and Warwick. They highlighted the positive impact they had on customers' lives and expressed appreciation for the supportive work environment that nurtured their professional growth and well-being.

Bluebird Care Stratford and Warwick's inclusive culture, which promotes equality, diversity, and respect, was also noted by the CQC inspectors.

The inspection report also looked into staff wellbeing, praising the Bluebird Care Stratford and Warwick team for regular wellbeing checks for care experts who dedicate their lives to supporting others. Inspectors also commended the home care provider for their commitment to staff reward and recognition – fostering a positive and motivated workforce with celebratory newsletters, gem awards, long-service recognitions and financial incentives for those who go above and beyond.

“The care and companionship I receive through Bluebird Care enables me to lead a happy, healthy and fulfilled life, despite my disability. Without Bluebird Care, I would not be able to play an active part in the local community – they make me feel valued as a person.”
