We are delighted to announce that Sara has been awarded our Live in Care Assistant of the month for March. Sara has only recently joined our team and was nominated following how she excellently handled a difficult situation when her customer became unwell.
We are delighted to announce that Sara has been awarded our Live in Care Assistant of the month for March.Sara has only recently joined our team and was nominated following how she excellently handled a difficult situation when her customer became unwell.
Our training teaches our staff to remain calm in a challenging situation and put the customer first and this is certainly what she did.
Live in Care Manager Liz explained:
Sara has been a carer in her home country and very much enjoyed her role. She wanted to come to the UK to work as a Live in Care Assistant as this is something that she has always wanted to do.
There was a situation during March where the customer that she was supporting became unwell very quickly.
The way that the customer took a turn was potentially life threatening and Sara acted quickly, calmly calling an ambulance and keeping in touch with our office.
The paramedics who visited could not praise Sara enough for what she had done, how quickly she acted and I would like to say a tremendous thank you and well done to her for such a deserved award.

I am very happy with my role here at Bluebird Care and overjoyed with receiving Live in Carer of the Month. I never expected to receive it and was so happy to have got it!
