Staff Summer Funday

Published: 10/08/2018

Each year we hold an event for our incredible team of Care Assistants in the summer and this year was no exception! We booked our local village hall in Hadlow, rolled out the BBQ, inflated the fun run and had an enjoyable time. Even though we chose the only full day of rain, we were not to be deterred and joined by Care Assistants who popped in throughout the day for a burger and chat.

The champion of the fun run was Care Coordinator Jamie, whose technique was nothing short of pretty much professional!

In addition to this, there was a very lengthy and tense game of jenga, which unfortunately Care Assistant Liliana conceded on with the last block!

Care Manager Zoe explained:
Despite the weather (which was pouring with rain) we had a good time and certainly made the most of the inflatable fun run.

We discovered some gazebos outside and put Community Liaison Manager Nathan outside with the BBQ and he was able to keep dry under it!

We are now planning our Christmas event which I am very much looking forward to!
