Hot Chocolate & Marshmellow Warmers!
With us coming up to Autumn, we thought we would do something a little different and invite staff into the office for a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream! The team stocked up, filled the kettle and tucked in! It was a really lovely treat for our incredible team of Care Assistants who visited the office throughout the day.

Hear From Customer Val
Our care team support 71 year old customer Val in her own home and are proud to do so as it enables her to keep living with her husband Fred as opposed to moving into a residential care environment. Val’s amazing husband Fred used to run a business, employing eight staff, however closed the business in order to care for her. We would like to thank Val who shared a bit of her story with us.

Bluebird Care Tonbridge & Tunbridge Wells partners with the Care Workers Charity
We are delighted to be working with the Care Workers Charity, in a brand new partnership set to benefit our hardworking team. The organisation is proud to award hardship grants of up to £500 to support unexpected and unforeseen circumstances. This might include sudden unexpected illness or injury, loss of home or relationship break-downs.

Finalist In The Great British Care Awards!
It's award season here at Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford and we are incredibly proud of Live-in Care Assistant Bozenna, who has been nominated as a finalist in the Great British Care Awards! Bozenna has been nominated as Home Care Worker Of The Year for the South East of England and is one of only eight finalists for the category!

Macmillan Coffee Morning!
Around 360,000 people in the UK each year are diagnosed with cancer and to help make a difference, we wanted to do something for Macmillan coffee morning and held a rather tasty, sweet event! We would like to say a big well done to the team who raised a great total of just under £50 that we will be whisking off to the bank very soon.
