A Hillingdon based business has won a top prize at an annual UK care award ceremony.

Bluebird Care Hillingdon, which operates from its office in Uxbridge, was named as a Finalist in the Bluebird Care Awards last week in Nottingham for ‘Franchise of the Year’, following another year of continual success and achievement.

Set up in 2012, the care provider has consistently prioritised excellent customer service and high standards of care.

Bluebird Care Hillingdon Managing Director, Alvin Osei-Tutu, said:

“I am very proud of what we have achieved over the last 5 years at Bluebird Care.

We won this award as a result of the hard work and effort that our staff put in on a daily basis. They are incredibly professional and compassionate which is not an easy combination to find in people.”

The organisation’s growth in both the number of customers and staff also led to it being recognised for its excellent business performance.

Employing more than 70 people, and caring for over 100 people across the borough, Bluebird Care is one of the most popular home care organisations in the area.

“We always go out of our way to ensure the people we look after have an excellent quality of care – nothing less than what we would expect for our own parents and elderly relatives.

It’s been a real joy to serve the community across Hillingdon, and we’re looking forward to even more successes in the future!”
