We have great career opportunities for both full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our friendly, caring and growing team!

Rates of pay from £11.00-£20.00 per hour plus 35p per mile mileage allowance for Domiciliary Care Assistants, and between £720-£820 per working week plus £30 per week food allowance for Live-in Care Assistants.

We deliver care in the privacy and comfort of our customers' homes as an alternative to residential care. We have opportunities across the Vale of Glamorgan including Penarth, Barry, Dinas Powys, Wenvoe, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Rhoose and surrounding areas. 

No experience necessary as full training is provided.

We provide care between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm, 7 days a week with various shift patterns within these hours including mornings, evenings & weekends.

 

YOU MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE, YOUR OWN VEHICLE FOR WORK PURPOSES, HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK WITHIN THE UK AND BE CURRENTLY LIVING WITHIN THE UK TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Lynne Churchill
Director

Lynne Churchill brings a wealth of experience to her role as Franchise Director for Bluebird Care Cardiff South and The Vale. With a background in Sales and Marketing, as well as Employee benefits, Lynne has worked extensively with partner blue chip companies across the UK, implementing successful marketing strategies to enhance their brands. Her 27 years of experience span across various industries including Healthcare, Advertising, and Recruitment, providing her with valuable insights and skills that will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of Bluebird Care.

As Franchise Director, Lynne is poised to lead the business to the next level, leveraging her expertise in sales, marketing, and brand development. With her strategic vision and proven track record, she is well-positioned to drive innovation and implement initiatives that will enhance the company's presence in the market.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Lynne enjoys staying active with hobbies like cycling and walking, as well as indulging in the pleasure of reading. This well-rounded approach to life is likely to bring a fresh perspective and energy to her role, further enriching her contributions to Bluebird

Emma Avis
Deputy Manager Cardiff and The Vale

Emma joined Bluebird Care in February 2015 having previously worked in supported living for people with Learning Disabilities. Emma initially started with us as a care worker and within six months was promoted to Care Supervisor. Emma is always on hand to provide advice and support to the supervisors in both Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Emma manages her own team of care workers to ensure that we continue to provide a quality service. Emma is the first point of contact with both new and existing customers in the Vale of Glamorgan.

In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

Joanne Couch
Care Supervisor Cardiff and The Vale

Joanne worked in Care for 4 years prior to joining Bluebird Care, mainly with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Joanne started with Bluebird Care in April 2019 as a Care Supervisor for the Vale of Glamorgan. Jo is responsible for supporting Customers and Care Assistants in the Vale by carrying out regular supervisions, spot checks, quality reviews and ensuring that our quality is always a priority.

Nicola Mills
Hub Coordinator & Live-in Care Mentor

Nicola started with Bluebird Care in 2015 as a Care Assistant, and upon the opening of our "Forget Me Not Hub" in 2021, began working as our Hub Activities Coordinator. With the growth of our Live-in Care Service, Nicola has taken on the role of Live-in Care Mentor. 

Cerys Morgan
Registered Manager Cardiff and The Vale

Cerys has worked in Care for 10 years, starting off as a Care Assistant and working her way up to Care Coordinator and Registered Manager. Cerys has managed multiple Bluebird Care Franchise’s.

Cerys is Qualified Level 5 Health and is also a Mental Health First Aid.

In her spare time, Cerys enjoys walking, visiting new places and spending time with her niece and nephews.
