Dignity Action Day 2018

This year Bluebird Care Wakefield have supported Dignity Action Day by arranging for a group of our care workers to come into the office for a tea and biscuits to discuss what Dignity means to them and how they deliver and uphold this at all times to the customers they support each day.

Some of the things that cares mainly brought up were how Dignity promoted persons independence and encouraged them in anything that they wanted to do. They also said that this was massively based around the privacy of the customer and making sure they have self respect at all times.

At Bluebird Care Wakefield we promote Dignity with each of our carers and ensure that they know the understanding of this by asking them to become a Dignity Champion during our training week.
