The office was bustling with excitement on the week before Christmas 2016. Staff were out and about delivering Christmas gifts and festive spirit around the borough to their customers.
The office was bustling with excitement on the week before Christmas 2016. Staff were out and about delivering Christmas gifts and festive spirit around the borough to their customers.In the weeks before Christmas Bluebird Care Waltham Forest and many of the staff had been donating and collecting gifts for the Christmas Gift Giving. The gifts were put into festive bags and delivered to customers to help brighten their day.
Wendy Edis, director at Bluebird Care Waltham Forest, said:
This was an idea from one of the lead care assistants Joanne, who was concerned because some of the customers do not have any family and friends, and at this time of year can feel lonely. Joanne and Katherine worked very hard delivering the gifts, which were well received and appreciated by customers.”
