50 Years of Service

We celebrate ten years of keeping the local community safe and well at home.  

Established in 2014 by Director David Benjamin, the service has made it its mission to help people remain in the homes they love for as long as possible as they age or become unwell. 

Now, the home care provider is marking ten years at the heart of the community, during which time they have supported over 1000 local people aged 30 to an impressive 112 – amounting to over 400,000 hours of care. 

In their decade of service to the community, they have built a team of incredible care experts who themselves have ranged from 18 to 83! 

Having seen the local area, and the care sector, change throughout the ten years one thing has remained constant as they have stayed true to their family values, treating their customers as they would their own family and instilling a ‘one big family’ culture among their team. 

Proudly marking their tenth year of being part of the Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon alongside David are the other members of the so-called ‘Fantastic Five’: Registered Manager, Andy Toon, Lead Supervisor, Melanie Fenton, Lead Coordinator, Michaela Phillips and Care Expert, Natasha Perry – all of whom have proudly been supporting people with care at home for a decade.  

Bluebird Care Worcester and Wychavon is part of the Bluebird Care network of over 200 home care franchises across the UK and Ireland. The care team provides anything from companionship care services and 30-minute visits, to 24-hour live-in care.
